Many gentle walks along old paths through spectacular glens and over stunning hills. Lots of more demanding high level walks on hill paths or along exposed ridges. Winter climbing from November onwards in snow gullies and on frozen waterfalls.

The area is also a rock climbers paradise with over 20 roadside crags, almost all with routes described in guidebooks.
